WENHAM, Mass.- The Southern New Hampshire women's cross country team placed 8^th overall out of 27 teams Saturday at the Pop Crowell Invitational at Gordon College.

Madeline Hayes (Newington, Conn.) placed 6^th overall while finishing the 5k with an 18:56 time. Freshman Stacey Wojcik (Wrentham, Mass.) also finished amongst the top ten while coming in 10^th with a 19:07 time, and Christina Montefusco (Danvers, Mass.) crossed the finish line in 68^th place with a 20:39 time.

The Penmen return to action next weekend, October 6 when they travel to Stanley Park for the James Earley Invitational at 12:00 p.m.
