Trailing 4-2 entering the top of the ninth, SNHU had two runners on with one out as Al Stanton (Sandwich, Mass.) was hit by a pitch and Palmer reached on an error, moving pinch runner Kyle McGinnity (Northborough, Mass.) to third.  Boulter reached on a fielders' choice that saw Palmer out at second, but McGinnity scored to make it 4-3. Boulter reached scoring position by stealing second, but a Penmen groundout ended the game.
