NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. – The Southern New
Hampshire women's cross country team placed an impressive
7th out of 29 teams at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational
Saturday afternoon. The 7th place finish marks a program
best at the annual race.
Maddie Hayes (Newington, Conn.) finished the
race 25th with a time of 19:30, and an average mile time of
6:16. Stacey Wojcik (Wrentham, Mass.) was
the second finisher for the Penmen coming in at 46th with a time of
20:11, coming in right behind Wojcik was Laura
O'Hanlon (Dedham, Mass.) who placed 53rd
with a time of 20:16. Abigail MacBeth (Cumberland,
R.I.) and Tesia Stanasek (Blackstone, Mass.)
finished back-to-back at 63rd and 64th with
times of 20:29, and 20:30, respectively.
The Penmen return to action next weekend, September 28, when
they travel to Franklin Park in Boston for the Codfish Bowl.
