HUMACAO, P.R. – The Southern New Hampshire University women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to Division I Presbyterian College Tuesday afternoon. The Blue Hose upped their record to 4-7-1, while the Penmen are now 7-2.
Junior Diana Vamvakitis (Wading River, N.Y.) picked up SNHU's lone point of the afternoon at No. 1 singles. After topping Greer Ransom 6-3 in the first set, she dropped the second set 6-2, before rallying for the win with an 11-9 win in the third set.
Southern New Hampshire wraps up its Puerto Rico trip Wednesday when it faces the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
