PREVIEW: Women's Tennis Entertains Bentley Saturday

THE PENMEN: Southern New Hampshire blanked Saint Rose 7-0 on Wednesday afternoon...the Penmen are ranked No. 8 in the most recent ITA East Region ranking...junior Diana Vamvakitis is 14-2 playing primarily at No. 1 singles this season, while Kirsten Jean is 11-5 in dual match singles action...Vamvakitis is the No. 12 ranked player in the most recent ITA East Region rankings..in doubles play, Vamvakitis is 16-3, and Jamie Hann and Jean are each 14-4 on the season.

THE FALCONS: Bentley has been idle since Sunday when it fell 8-1 at home to Merrimack...the Falcons were scheduled to play Brandeis on Friday...Brittani Hetyei is 7-4 in singles action playing primarily No. 4, while Ludmilla Yamus is 7-6 at No. 1...Susan Stowe is 5-0 at No. 5 and 6-1 overall, while Melanie Scott is 5-4...in doubles play Yamus and Rachel Petrini are 6-5 at No. 1.

THE SERIES: Southern New Hampshire is 6-9 all-time against Bentley, but has captured the last five meetings, including an 8-1 win last season.

WHAT'S NEXT: The Penmen close out the regular season Thursday when they host Merrimack in a 3:00 match...the Northeast-10 Championship then kicks off April 23.
