EASTON, Mass. – Sophomore Laura O'Hanlon (Dedham, Mass.) of the Southern New Hampshire University women's cross country team was named the Northeast-10 Conference Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week Tuesday afternoon.
O'Hanlon registered the second-fastest 5K time in Penmen history on Saturday, completing the UMass- Dartmouth Invitational in 18:32. She finished No. 11 in a race that consisted of 272 student-athletes and helped SNHU to a 12th-place finish.
The Penmen return to action on Oct. 4, as they travel to Bethlehem, Pa. to compete in the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh University.
