NORTHEAST-10 RELEASE
MANSFIELD, Mass. – Junior Laura O'Hanlon (Dedham, Mass.) of the Southern New Hampshire University women's cross country team was named the Northeast-10 Conference women's cross country Athlete of the Week on Monday.
O'Hanlon cruised to the individual title at the third annual Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup at the Hopkinton Fairgrounds on Friday. She crossed the finish line in 14:31, eight seconds faster than the second-place finisher on the 4,000-meter course. It also marked O'Hanlon's first career individual crown, and the fourth time she has been the Penmen's top finisher this season.
The Penmen return to action on Oct. 25 when they take part in the Northeast-10 Championship at Saint Michael's College.
