RINDGE, N.H. – Linsdey Bolduc (Londonderry, N.H.) belted two home runs and drove in four runs as No. 20 Southern New Hampshire University blanked Franklin Pierce University 7-0 in Northeast-10 softball Tuesday afternoon.  The Penmen upped their record to 14-3 and 3-0 in the NE-10, while the Ravens are now 1-4 and 1-3 in the league.

Bolduc went 3-3 at the plate while Katie Caruso (Newton, Mass.) and Mo Hannan (Scarborough, Maine) each had two hits as the Penmen rapped out 13 hits on the afternoon, with all nine members of the starting lineup registering at least one hit.

Bolduc staked the Penmen to a 1-0 lead in the first when her sac fly plated Brittany Perdigao (Stoughton, Mass.).  A Holly Eicher (Stoneham, Mass.) sac fly in the second made it 2-0, with Jessica Torsiello (Morris Plains, N.J.) scoring on the flyout.

The Penmen grabbed two runs in the third.  Erin Morrissey (Commack, N.Y.) singled to plate Caruso, while Bolduc scored on a sac fly by Sarah Lavallee (Candia, N.H.).  Bolduc closed out the scoring with a solo home run in the fourth and a two-run shot in the sixth.

Nicole Gubellini (Salem, N.H.) went the distance in the circle for SNHU, allowing four hits and striking out seven for her second shutout of the season.

SNHU is scheduled to travel to Franklin Pierce on Thursday for a 4:00 doubleheader.
