Senior Stacey Wojcik (Wrentham, Mass.) finished third in a field of 74 student-athletes, as the Southern New Hampshire University women's cross country team competed at the 2015 Northeast-10 Conference Preview Meet at Saint Michael's College on Saturday.
American International College combined for a team score of 35 points to finish first on Saturday, followed by Assumption College (52) and Saint Anselm College (79). University of South Carolina–Beaufort (88) and Saint Michael's College (115) rounded out the top-five.
Wojcik crossed the line in 22:46 to lead the Penmen. Freshman Ashley Dennis (Coventry, R.I.) was the second Southern New Hampshire finisher with a time of 27:19, and junior Devanee Ebert (Reading, Mass.) traversed the terrain in 29:20.
Notes:
- Wojcik registered her highest finish of the season and her third top-20 result in as many races.
- Betsy Douglas of USC Beaufort was the top finisher with a time of 22:07, 31 seconds ahead of the next closest competitor.
What's Next:
Southern New Hampshire is back in action on Oct. 10 when it makes the trip to Franklin Park in Boston for the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association Cross Country Championship.
