Notes: After setting a new program record for wins and advancing to the NCAA Super Regional for the first time in school history, the Penmen enter 2016 ranked No. 20 in the most recent National Fastpitch Coaches' Association (NFCA) Division II national poll and the preseason favorite to finish atop the Northeast-10 Conference Northeast Division in the League's Preseason Coaches' Poll. Southern New Hampshire captured its third consecutive division crown a season ago, and also won its second-straight Conference Championship and first NCAA East Regional title. 2015 Northeast-10 Coach of the Year Deb Robitaille returns seven starters from her 2015 squad, highlighted by Daktronics and NFCA First All-Region selections Mo Hannan (Scarborough, Maine) and Sarah Lavallee (Candia, N.H.). SNHU also welcomes back five All-NE-10 honorees in Hannan, Lavallee, senior Lindsey Bolduc (Londonderry, N.H.), classmate Katie Caruso (Newton, Mass.) and junior Nicole Gubellini (Salem, N.H.). The Penmen kick off their 2016 campaign with a 10-game trip to Florida from March 11 through 16, which begins with a doubleheader against conference foe Pace University and regional opponent Saint Thomas Aquinas College on Friday at 11 a.m. The first home game for Southern New Hampshire is slated for Saturday, March 26 against Merrimack College at noon.
