Le Moyne College 17, Southern New Hampshire University 7
Records: Le Moyne 6-0 (3-0 Northeast-10), SNHU 5-3 (2-3 Northeast-10)

Sophomore Alexa Bedell (Londonderry, N.H.) registered four points, but the Southern New Hampshire University women's lacrosse team dropped a 17-7 decision to second-ranked Le Moyne College on Saturday afternoon at Larkin Field.

Bedell scored three goals and handed out an assist, while freshman Jackie Richardson (Tyngsborough, Mass.) was the only other multiple-point scorer for the Penmen as she notched a goal and an assist. Senior Alexa Allen (E. Longmeadow, Mass.), junior Ellen Decker (Foxborough, Mass.) and junior Casey Duggan (Framingham, Mass.) each scored a goal.

Bryanna Fazio scored back-to-back goals to open the scoring and stake Le Moyne to a 2-0 lead just over four minutes in. Bedell set up Duggan's goal to put the Penmen on the board at the 24:44 mark, but Fazio answered with her third of the game and then collected an assist on an Erica Geremia strike to push the Dolphins' lead to 4-1 just over nine minutes into the contest.

Southern New Hampshire then scored three of the next four goals, with Bedell potting a pair of free-position tallies and Allen adding one of her own to trim the deficit to 5-4 with just under 10 minutes remaining in the opening half. Le Moyne would close the stanza with four straight goals to carry a 9-4 advantage into the break.

The Dolphins opened the second-half scoring just 24 seconds in before Decker found the back of the net off a feed from Richardson to make it 10-5 with 27:42 remaining. Le Moyne would reel off five straight – with two coming from Alexis Garbarino – to seize a commanding 15-5 advantage with just under 20 minutes to go.

Another Bedell free-position strike would stop the bleeding at the 18:16 mark, but Le Moyne would score two more times before Richardson capped with the scoring with 5:40 to play.
