Freshman Shelby Cole (Gilford, N.H.) and sophomore Angelina Graziano (Riverhead, N.Y.) each contributed a pair of points, but the Southern New Hampshire University women's lacrosse team lost to 15th-ranked Assumption University, 16-5, Wednesday evening at Brian Kelly Stadium.

KEY MOMENTS
- Assumption scored the game's first four goals over the initial 9:26 and led, 9-1, with under five minutes to go in the opening half before Cole struck twice to trim SNHU's halftime deficit to 9-3.
- The Greyhounds opened the second-half scoring with two straight and scored five of the first six in the second stanza to open up a 10-goal advantage at 14-4 with 7:50 remaining.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Junior goalkeeper Caela McCartney (Arvada, Colo.) started and made 10 saves on 19 shots in the first half, while freshman Megan Petko (Monroe, N.Y.) turned away eight of 15 shots in the second half. Assumption goalkeeper Allie Collins stopped seven shots.
- Junior Erin Gorton (Kennebunk, Maine) added an assist.
- Assumption outshot Southern New Hampshire, 41-19, including 22-9 in the opening stanza.
- The Greyhounds also had a 13-10 edge in draw controls, including 8-5 in the first half.
- SNHU was 0-for-2 on its free-position opportunities, while Assumption went 1-for-9.
