(Weston, Mass.) - SNHU freshman Theresa Irving (Penacook, N.H.) set a new program record for the high jump as Women's Track & Field competed in a meet with Brandeis University on Saturday.
Irving's mark of 1.62m was recorded at Weston High School. The previous best by an SNHU athlete had been 1.47m, most recently by Mary Claffey in 2018.
Highlights:
Irving and freshman Tori Limone (Stoneham, Mass.) both set personal bests in the javelin. Limone's 32.70m was tops on the team with Irving second at 31.77m.
Personal bests were also set by junior Theresa Spear (Westerly, R.I.) and Kathleen Landry (Charlton, Mass.) in the discus. Spear threw 34.40m and Landry had a 31.57m.
Freshman Ava Gravell (Windham, N.H.) won the 100m with a new PR time of 12.99 seconds.
