Freshman Shelby Cole (Gilford, N.H.) and sophomore Angelina Graziano (Riverhead, N.Y.) each registered four points, but the Southern New Hampshire University women's lacrosse team dropped a 19-10 decision to 21st-ranked Saint Anselm College on Thursday afternoon at Penmen Stadium.

KEY MOMENTS
- After Saint Anselm struck first just under two minutes into the contest, Graziano scored the first Penmen goal and set up another to give SNHU a 2-1 lead with 22:48 remaining in the opening half.
- The Hawks would respond by reeling off five straight and, later on, six-in-a-row to end the half and take a 14-4 lead into the break.
- The visitors added three more onto the scoreboard to begin the second stanza before SNHU closed the game by scoring six of the game's final eight goals over the last 19:05.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Junior goalkeeper Caela McCartney (Arvada, Colo.) did not make a save in the first half of action, while freshman Megan Petko (Monroe, N.Y.) stopped two shots in the second stanza. Saint Anselm goalkeeper Grace Young made seven saves.
- Junior Madison Peredna (Derry, N.H.) and sophomores Courtney Cronin (Woburn, Mass.) and Peyton Reihs (Albany, N.Y.) each added a goal, while junior Erin Gorton (Kennebunk, Maine) handed out an assist.
- Saint Anselm narrowly outshot Southern New Hampshire, 30-28.
- SNHU owned an 18-12 advantage in draw controls.
- Saint Anselm was 3-for-7 on its free-position opportunities, while SNHU went 2-for-4.
NOTES
- The 10 goals match a season high for scoring output in a loss and are the most the Penmen have scored at home this season.
- Five of the eight Penmen opponents this season have been nationally-ranked.
- This is the second time Saint Anselm has defeated SNHU this season. The Hawks posted a 19-5 home win over the Penmen to open the season March 17.
- Renaud continues to lead the team in goals (20) and points (23).
- Gorton paces the squad in assists (8).
- Graziano is second on the team in goals (9), assists (7) and points (16).
