SNHU Runners Travel To Franklin Pierce

RESULTS - No Team Scoring

(Winchendon, Mass.) - SNHU junior Meghan Stroh (New Fairfield, Conn.) set new personal records in the 100m and 200m as the Penmen competed Tuesday in a meet with Franklin Pierce and Bentley.

Highlights:
Stroh ran a 13.06 in the 100m, and also ran second in the 200m in 26.28.
Freshman Ava Gravell (Windham, N.H.) finished second in the 100m in 13.03, and set a PR in the 200m with a 27.17..
SNHU ran first and second in the 800m with junior Ashley Corcoran (East Longmeadow, Mass.) winning the race with a 2:22.62.  Freshman Marisa Shiland (Sherman, Conn.) was second at 2:25.35.
Corcoran also won the 1500m in 4:51.40, a new program record for the distance.  Teammates Kelsey Seamans (Methuen, Mass.) and Sarah Zarakotas (Deerfield, N.H.) ran second and third in the event.
The top long jump performer of the day was SNHU freshman Sydney Eccleston (Swanzey, N.H.) with a 4.42m mark.
The Penmen also won the 4x400 relay with Stroh and trio of freshman, Hannah Bradbury (Seekonk, Mass.), Riley McDermott (Kennebunkport, Maine), and Theresa Irving (Penacook, N.H.)

Men's 10000m
Members of the SNHU Men's Cross Country team took part in the 10,000m race with junior Alex Boedeker (Attleboro, Mass.) finishing first among Penmen runners, and second overall, in 33:33.90.  

Field events will be contested on Wednesday on the second day of Franklin Pierce University's Teamsgiving Relays.
