(Winchenden, Mass.) - SNHU's Women's Track & Field and Men's Cross Country teams competed over two days this week at Franklin Pierce University's Teamsgiving Relays. One new program record, and several PR's were set.

The new program record was set by junior Ashley Corcoran (East Longmeadow, Mass.) on Tuesday in the 1,500 meter run.  Her time of 4:51.40 beat the old mark set by Jill Dieterich 4:52.59 at the NE10 Conference Championships in 2017.

Wednesday's Highlights:
Junior Theresa Spear (Westerly, R.I.) set a new PR for the hammer throw at 36.99m (121' 4").   She finished up in second place.

Freshman Tori Limone (Stoneham, Mass.) won the javelin with a throw of 31.02m (101' 9").

Up Next:  SNHU will host a meet on Saturday, May 1, at Penmen Stadium.  It will be the final meet before the Northeast-10 Conference Championships.
