LOUISVILLE, KY. – Three members of the SNHU Men's Lacrosse team have received recognition by the USILA (United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association). Graduate student Nolan Isabella (Ballston Spa, N.Y.), a defenseman who also served as a Team Captain, sophomore long stick middle Cam Cote (Saco, Maine), and face-off specialist Gennaro Marra (Hampstead, N.H.) received honorable mentions from the USILA on its All Region Team (North).
All three were also named this Spring to the Northeast-10 Second-Team All-Conference after a season which saw the Penmen finish 7-6 (5-5 NE10), advancing to the post-season tournament.
Isabella caused 17 turnovers this season, and picked up 42 ground balls, while also assisting on two goals. Cote lead the conference with 27 caused turnovers, and finished 10th with 55 ground balls. Marra earned 160 ground balls, almost twice as many as anyone else in the NE10, setting a new career-mark for an SNHU player. He ranked eighth in the nation among Div. II athletes with a .658 success rate on face-offs (231-of-351).
