Leck also went 2-0, as she outlasted Vargas-Lopez, 7-6 (7-4), 0-6, 10-7, at No. 3 singles and posted a 6-2 win at No. 2 doubles with junior
Nadya Lyekontseva (Kyiv, Ukraine) against Giulia Martins Cavalcante and Phillips.
Tsui, Leck and the Penmen are back in action Sept. 25-29 at the ITA East Regional Championships in Flushing, N.Y., at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
