Herrmann Crowned NE10 Player of the Week

Senior scored three times in a 2-0-0 week

NO. ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Senior Philipp Herrmann (Bruckmuehl, Germany) of the 19th-ranked Southern New Hampshire University men's soccer team was selected as the NE10 Player of the Week for the period ending Sept. 7, the league office announced Monday.

Herrmann scored three goals for six points during a 2-0-0 week for SNHU to open the season. Herrmann scored twice in the opening 30 minutes, including the game winner, in Thursday's 4-2 victory against St. Thomas Aquinas College, and added 58th-minute insurance in a 2-0 win over Mercy University on Saturday.

The Penmen are back at it Wednesday (Sept. 10) at 7 p.m. when they play host to No. 15 Post University at Ouellette Stadium.
