NO. ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Senior Kurt Watson (London, Ont.) of the Southern New Hampshire men's ice hockey team was honored Monday as the Northeast 10 Player of the Week.
Watson scored three goals and added an assist over the weekend as the Penmen split two games at the Boston Landing Collegiate Invitational at Warrior Ice Arena. On Friday, Watson twice tied the game against Connecticut College, before following that performance with a goal and an assist in Sunday's 6-2 win over SUNY Potsdam.
Watson leads the Penmen with seven goals this season. This marks the second time in his career he has been named Northeast 10 Player of the Week.
SNHU returns to the ice on Friday, Jan. 9, at 7:40 p.m. when it hosts Rivier University at The Ice Den Arena in Hooksett, N.H.
