2011 SNHU MEN'S LACROSSE SCHEDULE

MANCHESTER, N.H. – Southern New Hampshire University men's lacrosse coach Paul Calkins announced the program's 2011 schedule Tuesday.

The Penmen open the 2011 schedule on Saturday, March 5, when they travel to Dowling College for a 1:00 contest.  The Golden Lions were ranked No. 2 in the final USILA Division II poll last season and fell to eventual national champion C.W. Post in the NCAA semifinals.  Southern New Hampshire returns to Long Island four days later when it squares off with New York Institute of Technology on March 9.  The Bears were ranked No. 7 in last season's final poll.

Southern New Hampshire opens its home schedule on Saturday, March 12 when the Penmen host the Terriers of Thomas College in a 4:00 contest at Larkin Field.  The Penmen open up Northeast-10 Conference play on Thursday, March 17 at Merrimack College, which ended 2010 ranked No. 6 and captured the 2010 Northeast-10 tournament title.

SNHU will be looking to rebound from a 2010 campaign that saw the Penmen go 4-10 and 2-8 in the NE-10.
