Senior Laura O'Hanlon (Dedham, Mass.) finished fourth amongst Division II competitors and No. 27 overall on Saturday, as the Southern New Hampshire University women's cross country team took part in the Paul Short Run on the campus of Lehigh University.
O'Hanlon posted an official time of 21:50 to lead the Penmen. Freshman Madison Brand (Valhalla, N.Y.) crossed the line next for Southern New Hampshire in 23:50 before classmate Jill Dieterich (Commack, N.Y.) clocked in at 23:59.
Sophomore Ashley Dennis (Coventry, R.I.) was next to check in for SNHU with a time of 25:18, and freshman Jill Couto (Newton Junction, N.H.) followed in 26:10. Freshman Alanna Murphy (Nashua, N.H.) completed the group of Penmen competitors with a 27:46 performance.
Notes:
- O'Hanlon finished behind Casey Norton (9) and Caitlyn Reese (25) of Shippensburg University as well as Assumption College's Antonia Pagliuca (20) in the Division II ranks.
- The Penmen finished No. 36 out of 42 NCAA Division I, II and III institutions.
- The race featured 373 student-athletes.

Southern New Hampshire resumes its schedule on Saturday (Oct. 8) at the NEIC4A Championships at Franklin Park in Boston.
