O'Hanlon Tabbed First Team All-Conference; Women's Cross Country 11th at NE-10s

Senior Laura O'Hanlon (Dedham, Mass.) placed seventh overall en route to earning All-Conference First Team honors as the Southern New Hampshire University women's cross country team finished 11th at Northeast-10 Championship on Saturday morning at Stonehill College.

O'Hanlon completed the six-kilometer run in a time of 22 minutes, 37.0 seconds.

Freshman Jill Couto (Newton Junction, N.H.) finished 37th for the Penmen in a time of 24:15.2, while classmate Jill Dieterich (Commack, N.Y.) was 79th at 25:23.9

Sophomore Ashley Dennis (Coventry, R.I.) crossed the finish line in a time of 26:26.7 to check in 104th, with freshman Alanna Murphy (Nashua, N.H.) rounded out the Penmen scorers by clocking a time of 27:09.9.

Senior Devanee Ebert (Reading, Mass.) capped off the Southern New Hampshire finishers with a time of 31:35.2.

Notes:
- O'Hanlon earned a spot on the Northeast-10 All-Conference First Team for the third straight season, becoming the first runner in program history to accomplish the feat.
- Stonehill's Nicole Borofski repeated as the individual Northeast-10 Champion by blazing through the course in a time of 21:26.2, which was more than 42 seconds quicker than the runner-up.
- Stonehill claimed its eighth straight league crown after placing their five scoring harriers in the top 12 spots.
- The race featured 149 student-athletes from 15 competing institutions.

What's Next:
SNHU is back in action Saturday, Nov. 5 when it competes at the NCAA East Regional Championship at the Hopkinton Fairgrounds in Hopkinton, N.H.
