Women's Track and Field Sits No. 11 After Day One of NE10 Indoor Championships

The Southern New Hampshire University women's track and field team opened up the 2018 Norhteast-10 Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday, and the Penmen sit 11th after one day of competition.

SNHU accumulated two points through six scored events. The Southern New Hampshire distance medley relay team picked up both points Saturday, as it finished seventh overall. The contingent of sophomores Jill Dieterich (Commack, N.Y.), Megan Eugene (Everett, Mass.), Jill Couto (Newton Junction, N.H.), and Madison Brand (Valhalla, N.Y.) pushed the baton around the track 12:58.46.

The Penmen women's track and field team wraps up its 2018 Northeast-10 Conference Championship appearance Sunday on the campus of Smith College with events beginning at 10 a.m.
