Southern New Hampshire received points in two additional events, as freshmen Mary Claffey (Burlington, Conn.) and Kylie Lorenzen (Holliston, Mass.) picked up three points apiece in the pole vault and the long jump, respectively. Claffey cleared a height of 2.60 meters to check in at No. 6 in the pole vault, while Lorenzen propelled herself a distance of 5.31 meters, just .01 meters out of the top-five, to also land in sixth-place.

The Penmen received strong showings in the hammer throw from freshman Ashley Elder (Bristol, Conn.) and sophomore Melissa Melanson (Goffstown, N.H.). Elder posted a top-10 finish with a heave of 40.92 meters to slot in at No. 10, while Melanson was right behind her in 11th after she whirled the weight 40.36 meters.
