DiMaggio, a five-year member of the men's soccer program (2010-14), turned in a stellar career as a goalkeeper. DiMaggio played in 67 matches in goal over the course of his career, posting a record of 57-6-3 (.873) with 26 shutouts. He stopped 140 of the 174 shots he faced over 5644:07, recording a 0.54 goals-against average (GAA) and .805 save percentage. The 26 shutouts rank second all-time in the SNHU record book.

DiMaggio was a two-time Daktronics All-America (2013, 2014), three-time Daktronics All-Region (2012, 2013, 2014) and two-time NE10 All-Conference (2012, 2014) selection.

The Penmen went 88-13-8 (.844) during his five years, winning the 2013 NCAA National Championship, making five NCAA appearances and capturing three NE10 titles.

DiMaggio also served as an assistant coach with the Penmen in 2016.
