Lorenzen was a four-year member of both the women's basketball (2015-19) and women's track & field (2016-19) program.

Lorenzen played in 113 games, including 97 starts, with the women's basketball program. She amassed 1,798 points (15.9 ppg), 932 rebounds (8.2 rpg), 184 assists (1.6 apg) and 173 steals (1.5 spg), while knocking down 48.2 percent (654-1356) of her shots from the floor and 80.3 percent (462-575) from the line.  She is the program's all-time leader in points and rebounds, while ranking fourth in games played and 10th in steals. 

Lorenzen was a two-time Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) All-America Honorable Mention (2018, 2019) and a two-time D2CCA East All-Region Second Team honoree (2018, 2019). The 2016 NE10 Rookie of the Year was a three-time NE10 All-Conference selection, including a two-time First Team (2018, 2019) pick. Lorenzen was also recognized for her work in the classroom with a pair of CoSIDA Academic All-District (2018, 2019) nods.

The Penmen went 59-54 (.522) and qualified for a pair of NE10 Championships during her tenure.

On the track & field side, Lorenzen still has her name in the program's outdoor record book four times (long jump; 5.59m, 4x200 relay; 1:46.60, 4x400 relay; 4:00.91, sprint medley relay; 4:14.68.
