Served as president of Southern New Hampshire University from 1987-2003...oversaw a period of growth at the institution as the school transitioned to university status as New Hampshire College became Southern New Hampshire University...several new buildings were erected on campus as well... was a key figure in SNHU's move from the now-Division III New England Collegiate Conference to the Northeast-10 Conference...several athletic facilities were enhanced under his watch, including the construction of the Fitness Center as the athletic complex underwent major renovations, and the soccer/lacrosse field was resurfaced with FieldTurf and had lights installed.
